TikTok superstar Beandri Booysen dies aged 19 losing battle to make it to Christmas while fighting super-aging disease

Following a battle with a super-aging sickness, TIKTOK star Beandri Booysen unfortunately passed away at the age of 19.

Despite the fact that Beandri was not predicted to live past the age of 14, she persisted and rose to fame on the internet.

The adolescent, who had open heart surgery only two months prior, was resolved to spend Christmas with her parents.

She was born with osteoporosis, which causes bones to crumble and become brittle, and Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome, a rare condition that causes youngsters to age quickly.

There are only 200 known cases of the irreversible abnormality worldwide, and Beandri was one of only one in four million newborns born with it.

Bea, Beandri’s mother, thanked all of her supporters around the world for their unwavering love and confirmed yesterday that she had lost her fight for life.

She said in an interview earlier this year: I ve been living with Progeria since birth and I am used to it and I ve learned over the years to deal with all the challenges and surgery.

By raising me as a typical child and not one who is perceived as different from others, my family has given me the courage and support to deal with anything that God throws at me.

I became stronger and the person I am now because of this. I maintain a sizable TikTok following in an effort to uplift and encourage my followers every single day.

I want to spread the word about other people with special needs, demonstrate that each person is unique and diverse, and, if I can, offer support.”

A memorial service will be arranged to honor her life, according to Mum Bea.

Only a small percentage of people with progeria survive into their twenties, with an average life expectancy of 14 years.
