Fortunately, no one was harmed in the initial incident at Five Lake Massage Spa on December 6, although the culprit stole $600.

“How are you guys doing?” asked FOX 2.

“I’m scared,” the proprietor declared. When he entered, he said, ‘Give me money, give me money.’ “All right, I’ll give you some cash,” I said.

Brandon Woods, 34, is the suspect. He is accused of targeting the massage parlor on 14 Mile, which is directly across the street from the police station.

“Anybody in this area knows that this is a public safety building – police and fire,” stated Sgt. Ben Hoppe, a det., Fraser Police. “I m not sure if he s just brazen or didn t care, or thought he would get away with it,”

The same suspect is said to have returned on December 17.

Fox 2: “So Tuesday this week he came back?”

“Yeah same guy,” the spa’s proprietor stated.

The massage parlor installed a security lock on the door following the heist on December 6.

Additionally, an employee approached Woods with a suspect photo that the police had made public when he allegedly returned.

“What s that?” asked Woods.

Spa employee: “You.”

Woods: “Me? I’ve never visited this place before.

Just as he was leaving, police arrived on the scene.

“One of our officers was pulling out of the station here and observed that male from the photos walking down behind the business here,” Hoppe explained.

“Just a second and we’ll tell it to you, okay,” said the policeman.

Woods, a Southfield husband and father to three children with a fourth on the way, was accused on Thursday.

Given Woods’ extensive criminal record, the judge placed his bond at $500k in cash surety, not 10%.

“I would just love to be with my family and I plan to fight this case to the very fullest,” Woods stated. “Because I do believe I am innocent.”
