Andy Reid, the coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, has given an update on Patrick Mahomes’ injuries.
During the victory over the Cleveland Browns in Week 15, the signal caller suffered a sprained ankle.
Late in the 21-7 victory, Carson Wentz took Mahomes’ place, and he hobbled off the field, clearly in discomfort.
However, Reid stated this week that Mahomes will be prepared for Week 16.
When the Chiefs play the Houston Texans on Saturday, they were given a short week.
Mahomes participated fully in Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday’s practices.

Reid remarked, “He did look good out there.”
“He moved around quite effectively. Therefore, you’re constantly trying to make sure they can move aside so they don’t get hurt any more.

“He just puts it into a mindset that he has going into it from where he was a few days ago, and the guy has been so mentally tough.”
