ESPN makes major broadcast change with First Take cut in half and Pat McAfee Show bumped from schedule
For the start of Christmas week, ESPN has made significant schedule adjustments.
During the holidays, the network has become a live sports sanctuary.
This implies that some of their most well-liked studio productions have suffered.
First Take will be halved on Monday and conclude at 11 a.m. ET.
In Week 16, Molly Qerim, Stephen A. Smith, and Shannon Sharpe will have just one hour to discuss all of the implications of NFL Sunday.
Instead of airing a second hour of First Take, ESPN will now broadcast live college football.

Pat McAfee show hit by major changes with ESPN coverage causing schedule chaos
In the Myrtle Beach Bowl, they will watch the USTA Roadrunners play the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.
At 11 a.m. ET, the game will begin at Brooks Stadium in Conway, South Carolina.
The renowned Idaho Potato Bowl will also be broadcast live on ESPN starting at 2:30 PM ET.
The Fresno State Bulldogs will play the Northern Illinois Huskies in that matchup.
Additionally, Pat McAfee on the main network will have no place on Monday due to ESPN’s live college football coverage.
Rather, ESPN2 will broadcast it between noon and two o’clock ET.
Additionally, starting at 5 p.m. ET, a two-hour NFL Live broadcast will air on the same channel.
In the evening, ESPN will conclude a live football Monday with an NFL game.
In the last game before Christmas, they will feature the New Orleans Saints vs the Green Bay Packers.
At its regular time on ESPN, Monday Night Countdown starts at 6 p.m. ET.
Additionally, both ABC and ESPN will broadcast the actual game live starting at 8:00 p.m. ET.

San Antonio Spurs vs. New York Knicks, 12 p.m. ET
Minnesota Timberwolves at. Dallas Mavericks, 2:30 p.m. ET
Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers, 5 p.m. ET
Los Angeles Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors, 8 p.m. ET
10.30 p.m. ET: Phoenix Suns vs. Denver Nuggets
On Christmas Eve, First Take will air as usual from 10 a.m. to noon ET.
On Christmas Day, a one-hour version of the show will also air.
When the NBA Countdown coverage of the first of five basketball games begins at 11 am ET, it will come to an end.
