After 812 million visits, a major illicit sports streaming network that offered inexpensive football game viewing has been shut down.
The most prominent anti-piracy organization in the world has shut down notorious illegal websites with Vietnamese origins that were accessible from other countries.
A major raid on one of the biggest international sports pirate rings was revealed by the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE).
According to their study, the infamous websites received 812 million visits in the previous year, making it one of the biggest ACE operations to date.
People in the US and Canada were the primary users of the websites, which streamed daily sporting events.
All of them were taken down, including weakspell.to, crackstreams.dev, markkystreams.com, streameast.to, and bestsolaris.com.

They agreed to transfer 138 domains right away when ACE targeted them in a global probe.
“The dismantling of this internationally infamous live sports piracy ring is a huge victory in our campaign against the piracy of live sports programs and follows other recent successful actions by ACE and law enforcement in Vietnam,” stated Larissa Knapp, Executive Vice President and Chief Content Protection Officer for the Motion Picture Association (MPA).
Because live sports broadcasts lose a significant amount of their commercial value after the game is over, ACE’s live sports members are particularly vulnerable to digital piracy.
“ACE will find and shut down illegal operations, including those involved in live sports piracy, as a warning to piracy operators worldwide.”
Every ACE member was impacted by the illicit operation, including the sports tier members Canal+, DAZN, and IN Sports.
According to Ed McCarthy, DAZN’s chief operating officer, the company supports ACE in its efforts to combat piracy, which threatens the entire sports industry.
“The dismantling of a criminal enterprise of this magnitude is highly satisfying.
“Closing this piracy ring has the added benefit of directing potential subscribers toward real content providers like DAZN, as piracy frequently jeopardizes the security of fans’ data, which is then used for illicit purposes.”
