Scott Hansen makes statement after major broadcasting change to NFL RedZone for first time in its history

Amid rumors that NFL RedZone may start airing advertisements, SCOTT HANSEN made his voice heard.

Last weekend, the NFL infuriated people by abandoning its custom of broadcasting football without commercials on RedZone.

And when Sunday’s telecast included advertising for the second consecutive week, fan ire grew.

Hanson, the longtime host, was even compelled to apologize for using his well-known tagline, “seven hours of commercial-free football,” to open last Sunday’s show.

However, throughout the broadcast, four sets of advertisements came next.

“Hi everyone. He stated, “I just wanted to take a moment to apologize for using the commercial-free catchphrase at the top of last show as we start a great football weekend.”

Michael Strahan labels Kirk Cousins as ‘consistently mediocre’

“I had mixed feelings about it before. I apologize for my poor choice; I had to make a difficult choice.

“I make an effort to be the greatest host I can be. It’s unlikely that anything else could compare to what we have seen and experienced together over the course of 16 seasons on NFL RedZone.

“I adore it. I intend to continue for another sixteen years. However, I hope you will accept my apology because being a great host requires being truthful, accurate, and honest.

Fans were still furious on the internet even after he apologized.

“Leave it to the NFL to ruin their finest offering. “So disappointing,” someone remarked.

“Really repulsive. Another said, “A multibillion dollar company cannot simply be satisfied with their ungodly sums of money.”
