Michael Vick breaks down in tears live on Fox NFL Sunday in emotional moment with analyst leaving show for new venture

During an emotional moment on Fox NFL Sunday, Michael Vick started crying.

Since commencing the weekly program in 2017, the 44-year-old has been a consistent participant.

He has made appearances with Michael Strahan and Co. on both the pre-show and the main show.

However, he is departing after seven years to pursue a new professional path outside of broadcasting.

This week, the NFL cult hero will take over as Norfolk State’s head coach.

The seasoned analyst found the move too much to handle during the Week 16 Fox NFL Sunday broadcast.

Vick sobbed as she added, “First of all, just being a big part of Fox Sports and the opportunity.”

“I love everyone in this building, including you all. And I think this administration has been fantastic.

“This was bittersweet and difficult.

“However, when you have the chance, take advantage of it to go mentor young men in your community, which is where I grew up.

“You are watching this team, and I wanted to reassure them that they wanted me to be their inexperienced head coach.

However, I have what it takes, the proper people at my side, and I’m prepared to start a new adventure.
