Cruise ship horror as passenger, 48, dies trying to jump from Sky Princess vessel as it was heading back to Florida
Days before Christmas, a passenger on a cruise ship died after attempting to jump off the ship.
On Saturday, tragedy occurred aboard the Princess Cruises ship Sky Princess when it was returning to Florida.
The ship’s passengers had begun their journey on December 15 and had been in Mexico for eight days.
However, according to Cruise Radio, one woman attempted to jump from the ship and fell to the deck.
Princess Cruises’s representative announced her passing.
Emergency medical attention was given right away by shipboard staff, but they told the source that despite their best attempts, she was not able to be revived.
The moment the ship staff broke the news to other passengers was captured on TikTok videos.
The woman attempted to jump overboard but perished, according to the passengers.
Since then, the travel agency has extended assistance to impacted passengers.
With space for over 3,600 guests, the Sky Princess ship has been in operation since 2019.
