Kate Middleton is confident with her recovery and has a new, unexpected wing-woman, claims body language pro

When Kate Middleton appeared at the Sandringham Christmas Day church service this morning, she exuded strength and confidence in her recuperation.

The 42-year-old Princess of Wales put on a sophisticated green ensemble for the yearly celebration today, and a body language expert said she seemed optimistic about her recuperation.

The royal family made their way to St. Mary Magdalene Church on the Norfolk Estate this morning as part of the annual Sandringham Walk.

Wearing one of her favorite green Alexander McQueen coats, the mother of three strolled beside her husband, Prince William, and their three children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.

King Charles, 76, and Queen Camilla, 77, who donned a dark green cloak resembling Princess Kate’s, were also present during today’s royal walk.

To find out what she made of the royal Christmas Day visit, we spoke with body language expert Judi James.

In addition to noting that Kate was cheerful and “confident” about her recuperation, Judi also saw that 11-year-old Prince George would be prepared to assume additional royal responsibilities.

In addition, she saw the Princess’ new wing-woman, who is only six years old.

Not because of the earthy rural green hue that complemented the other top-tier royals and conveyed a sense of solidarity and teamwork, but rather because of her hat—a tiny green fascinator/beret—Kate’s ensemble appeared noteworthy in terms of her recuperation, Judi James told Fabulous.

Kate arrived at the church by walking alongside the crowd. If she had felt vulnerable, she could have partially hidden her face by donning a wide-brimmed hat, as she has done in the past.

Her bright smile as she walked by the spectators was a reflection of the strength and more confident, positive approach that a smaller hat like hers tends to convey.

William strolled with George and Charlotte, while Kate firmly placed her hand on top of Louis’s in a very confident ‘lead’ gesture upon arriving.

Judi also saw Kate’s dimpled smile returning with a vengeance, adding: Which is always one level up from the flawless royal smile she does so beautifully.

As William looked over and noticed it, Judi added, “That dimpling suggests authentic joy and good humor, and his own smile seemed to widen to match those of their very Christmas Day-excited children.”

Kate looked to her left at her family as the group fell into a line, and it made everyone smile with pride.

Her smaller hat typically conveys strength and a more assured, positive demeanor.

Judi recognised a clear message in young George s body language, as she claimed: George seems to be happily taking over some of the lead duties from his dad.

Looking quite solemnly focused he stepped ahead as they reached the spot for the greeting rituals with the clergy, waiting for his turn with an air of expectancy rather than the rather shy look he used to project.

Kate Middleton’s ‘golden rule’ with George, Charlotte and Louis

Kindness is Kate’s main guideline for Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

According toHELLO! Online’sRoyal Correspondent: “Based on observations of photographs of Princess Diana at the time, and the current Princess of Wales, they are both very affectionate with their children.

“Kate is often seen holding her children’s hands or picking them up for cuddles when they were smaller.

“There are often lots of comforting gestures, such as a pat on the back or stroking their hair. When interacting with other children on her public engagements, Kate often crouches down to their level to engage with them something that Diana would often do.”

When she’s at the family’s home of Adelaide Cottage inWindsor, despite her royal status, insiders sayKate is just like any other “normal mum”.

A friend explained that behind closed doors, the 42-year-old is “very chilled at home” but definitely not a pushover and will tell the kids off when needed.

Theytold PEOPLE: “It’s a normal, busy family home with kids running around and knocking things over. There’s no airs and graces.

“She is doing that to help her children be more grounded and keep their reality in check. That’s what really matters to her.”

New, unexpected wing-woman

As the royals left the church, Judi recognised: “There was a shadow of what looked like tiredness on Kate’s face as she walked out of the church, although that look evaporated to be replaced with a wide smile when she glanced across at William and met his gaze.

“She also had an unexpected wing-woman to help with that smile, too.”

Judi recognised that Kate has a new wing-woman by her side,Zara TindallandMike Tindall’s second child, Lena, six.

According to the Royal Family website, Miss Lena Tindall, who is the great-niece of the monarch, is 23rdin line for the throne.

Judi continued: “Mike Tindall has always been the guy on hand to lift any tension and make the royals laugh and today his daughter Lena showed she’s inherited that same talent in her DNA.

“As the Wales’s stepped out for their meet with the crowdLenawas seen bobbing about, waiting for a gap to get in and cheer her friends up.

She also had an unexpected wing-woman to help with that smile

“First she pulled alongside Charlotte, grinning at her and making her smile but then she targeted Kate herself, standing beside her and leaning her head back to flash the biggest, cheesiest grin to make Kate laugh, too.

“It was very much Kate’s crowd, with a more tactile display of affection from both the fans and Kate herself.
