Neither Kahului Airport’s protocols nor United Airlines’ flight operations were impacted by the event.

Aldarondo and Marweg were identified as contractors and employees of Delta.

According to NBC station WXIA-TV, Marweg, who was born and raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia, about 20 miles northeast of Atlanta, had been employed by Delta for more than 20 years, and this was his final position with the airline.
