Missing Kevin Graves confirmed as human remains outside Electric Forest festival site
Graves, Kevin
(FOX 2):The remains discovered close to a west Michigan music event have been recognized by state police as those of the man who vanished from Electric Forest in 2018.
Six years ago, Kevin Graves vanished from the festival and was reported missing to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.
Western Michigan University forensic anthropologists used dental records to verify Graves’ identification, according to Michigan State Police.
The cause of death may not be known for months, but authorities don’t think foul play is a factor.
According to reports, Graves, of Highland Township, vanished following an altercation with his girlfriend. Investigators stated he had intended to go back to his tent. Rather, he vanished, prompting a police search with dogs and scores of volunteers.
Police from the sixth district also said, “Please remember Kevin Graves’ family and friends during this difficult time.”
