Travis Kelce sends message to Kansas City Chiefs over playoffs after NFL legend wins another award
After receiving yet another distinction, Travis Kelce sent a powerful message to Kansas City Chiefs supporters.
As the Chiefs prepare to enter the playoffs in pursuit of the league’s first-ever three-peat, the NFL star tight end made this comment.
Kelce’s 87 and Running organization received a $35,000 donation this week.
In addition to receiving the money, the 10-time Pro Bowl tight end was named the champion of Nationwide’s 2024 Charity Challenge.
In order to win the award, Kelce acknowledged the Kansas City supporters that supported the NFL club.

Social media informed me that we had won the Walter Peyton Charity Challenge, and I always have trust in the kingdom to come out and support theirs.
“One more reason I adore you all.
“Let’s go get it in the playoffs though man, I’ll see you guys up at Arrowhead.”
In 2015, Kelce established his foundation with the goal of providing underprivileged children with community services and education.
“Change the outcomes of underserved youth in communities across the U.S. by creating access to opportunities, enrichment, and advancement,” according to the 87 and Running website.
After their 15-2 regular season record earned them the No. 1 seed in the AFC, Kelce and his Chiefs team are presently taking it easy during their bye week.
They will face the victor of the Houston Texans vs. Los Angeles Chargers game.
During the NFL playoffs, Kansas City will enjoy home-field advantage.
For the tenth consecutive season, Kelce was selected as a Pro Bowler.
But by his standards, the year was a letdown.

For the first time in his career, the 35-year-old averaged less than 10 yards per grab, earned his lowest yardage, and only scored three touchdowns—his lowest total to date.
