WWE announces huge ratings for Monday Night Raw debut on Netflix after groundbreaking broadcast move
The WWE’s initial attempt at live streaming has been a huge hit in terms of viewership.
Earlier this week, Monday Night Raw debuted on the massive streaming service Netflix.
Following the firms’ $5 billion merger, WWE celebrated the special broadcast by bringing out both current and former stars.
The Rock starred in a new promo, Hulk Hogan was greeted with a barrage of jeers, and CM Punk defeated Seth Rollins in a grudge match.
Thanks to Wrestlenomics, the company has officially made the premiere’s viewing statistics public.
It shows that 2.6 million households in the United States watched Monday Night Raw live.

According to the study, the broadcast also garnered 4.9 million Live+1 views worldwide.
Compared to Raw’s average US audience of 1.2 million households in 2024, such figures represent a 116% increase.
In the last five years, they have also surpassed those of any other Monday Night Raw broadcast.
The event more than doubled the 18-49 audience compared to this time last year, indicating that younger viewers also tuned in.
There is no figure indicating the number of real viewers, unlike with regular TV broadcasts.
Instead, the ratings are broken down per household; according to Wrestlenomics, the average viewing was about 3.5 million.
“Monday Night Raw set a company record as the highest-grossing WWE arena event of all time,” the WWEE and Netflix revealed in a press release.
“Additionally, the event set a merchandise sales record, becoming the highest-grossing non-Premium Live Event of all time.”
For the Head of CreativeTriple H and Chief Content Officer of WWE, the ratings explosion is a huge victory.
Since every wrestler in his enormous pool wants the greatest slot, he acknowledged before the broadcast that it had been difficult to keep them all satisfied.
