Lions’ Joseph, St. Brown, and Sewell headline six All-Pro 1st and 2nd team selections

DETROIT, MICHIGAN-November 28: In the first half of an NFL Thanksgiving Day football game between the Detroit Lions and the Chicago Bears, offensive tackle Penei Sewell #58 of the Detroit Lions defends against defensive end Jacob Martin #55 of the Chicago Bears.


    • The AP 2024 All-Pro teams included six Detroit Lions among those honored.

    • Amon-Ra St. Brown, Penei Sewell, Kerby Joseph and Jack Fox made the First Team.

    • Frank Ragnow and Kalif Raymond were Second Team selections.

FOX 2-The Lions (15-2) were well-represented among the All-Pro NFL teams announced by the Associated Press.

Together, the Lions’ first and second team choices totaled six.

The starting lineup includes punter Jack Fox, safety Kerby Joseph, right tackle Penei Sewell, and receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown.

With 115 receptions, 1,263 yards, and 12 touchdowns, St. Brown finished second in the league.

Sewell was perhaps the league’s most dominant right tackle, giving up only one sack and only six penalties during the season.

Joseph added 58 tackles, a defensive score, and nine interceptions, which led the NFL.

Fox punted for 46 yards on average.

Ragnow is on the second team for the second consecutive year, and St. Brown and Sewell are earning first team honors for the second consecutive year.
