Lions’ Amon-Ra St. Brown checks out bakery’s life-size cake of his headstand celebration

The Lions’ star receiver stopped over today to see the life-size cake, which has garnered worldwide viral publicity for the Rochester bakery.

FOX 2, Rochester, Mich.The life-size cake of Amon-Ra St. Brown from a Rochester bakery has gone viral online, and the Detroit Lion had to see it for himself on Monday.

Think of it as a unique occasion where inspiration meets art, or art meets inspiration on Mondays. When the great Lions receiver showed out the cake from his headstand touchdown celebration, the crowd outside Home Bakery in Rochester went crazy.

St. Brown remarked, “I was like I’ve gotta come check it out,”

Fox 2: “To see it in person, what do you make of it?”

“It’s bigger than I thought, golly,” St. Brown remarked. “Despite its size, it looks fantastic. Everything about the detail is insane.

“We are excited, and the city is too. Obviously, the playoffs have just begun, so we can’t wait. Being here and witnessing the supporters’ excitement is fantastic.

The Lions’ Divisional Round playoff game versus the Commanders at Ford Field starts at 8 p.m. on Saturday.

Naturally, St. Brown’s fourth down catch at Green Bay on November 3 was the touchdown celebration that has been immortalized on everything from T-shirts to Christmas tree ornaments and more.

However, one local admirer created a huge snowman in remembrance of his headstand, which isn’t the only popular online tribute.

Fox 2: “Did you hear about the snow sculpture of you?”

He remarked, “I saw that yesterday,” “I got that from one of my friends. It’s simply crazy.”

One of the bakery’s co-owners, Mary Racook, was present for Monday’s large audience and the bakery’s special guest.

With a purchase this week, the bakery is giving out free tickets to Saturday’s home playoff game.

Saying, “Not at all,” “We had some knowledge, but nothing nearly as extensive. From the NFL to Sports Illustrated, it’s absolutely crazy to go viral and go global.

She claims that the cake has drawn national and international notice to the neighborhood confectionery. A lot of people came to the storefront merely to take a picture.

To purchase a baked item, fans had to wait up to two hours. The playoff ticket raffle at Home Bakery closes on Thursday.
