Naked New York man arrested after breaking into Monroe County home

(FOX 2) Monroe County, MichiganWhen a man from New York allegedly stormed into a house and attacked the occupant, he was naked.

Around 8:30 p.m. on Monday, deputies from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to Berlin Township’s 8800 block of Swan Creek Road in response to complaints of a naked man attempting to enter a business. Before he fled, leaving his car behind, 911 callers said that the man was acting suspiciously and talking unusual things.

A resident in the 3600 block of Law Street contacted 911 to report that a man who fit the suspect’s description had broken into his house while deputies were looking for him. According to the allegations, the nude man attacked the homeowner when he confronted him and then fled the house.

A police pursuit in Monroe on Sunday night resulted in the arrest of a 15-year-old motorist.

The 34-year-old male allegedly raced back to the house, attempted to enter again, and attacked the homeowner a second time when deputies saw him leaving the house.

Following an altercation with deputies, the defendant was taken into custody on charges of indecent exposure, resisting, obstructing, and assaulting police, and home invasion. He is incarcerated at the Monroe County Jail at the moment.
