How to watch Lions-Commanders in NFL’s Divisional Round of the playoffs

FOX 2-In the NFL’s Divisional Round of the postseason, the Lions begin their playoff run on Saturday night at Ford Field against the Washington Commanders.
This weekend, Detroit, the top-seeded team in the NFC, is the clear favorite to win the playoffs versus the Commanders, the upstart sixth-seeded team. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, one of two teams that defeated the Lions this season, were defeated 23–20 by Washington, who proceeded to this round under the leadership of rookie QB phenom Jayden Daniels.
The experience of last season’s playoff run to the NFC Championship game was discussed by Lions coach Dan Campbell.
“The situation we’re in at the moment is nothing new. For myself, the coaches, and the players, this is nothing new,” he remarked. “Dude, we’re right in the center of the circus. And the time to perform is almost here. We live in a world like that.
How to Watch the Lions
FOX 2 broadcasts the Lions’ game against the Commanders at Ford Field at 8:00 p.m.
The Lions have the greatest odds of winning the Super Bowl (+275), ahead of even the two-time defending champion Kansas City Chiefs (+325), according to ESPN Bet.
Online sportsbooks have the Lions favored by -8.5 to -9.5 points.
Detroit defeated the Lions 27-13 in 2000, 41-10 in 1992, and 31-7 in 1983. This is Washington’s fourth playoff meeting with Detroit.
Older Lions supporters probably still harbor resentment at the 1992 defeat, which is also regarded as Barry Sanders’ closest ever appearance at the Super Bowl. At RFK Stadium against the then-Redskins, a spectacular 1991 regular season that included the final playoff victory in modern history until a season ago came to a crashing halt.

At 55.5 points combined, the Lions vs. Commanders game has the greatest over/under of any divisional playoff game.
With both teams having potent offenses and the Lions’ defensive injuries, it may be a shootout. With 409.5 yards per game at the end of the season, Detroit had the second-best offensive in the league, while Washington came in at number seven (369.6).
With nearly 3,600 passing yards, 25 touchdowns through the air, and six rushing scores among his nearly 900 rushing yards, Daniels, the second overall choice in the NFL Draft, has had an incredible rookie season.
Campbell referred to him as a “difference-maker” on Monday.
“He is a serious menace and dangerous. “He doesn’t play quarterback like a rookie,” Campbell remarked. “As composed as he is, he’s really been able to function at such a high level without the mistakes or things like that, he’s doing a really good job.”
