Charges Filed Against Michigan Contractor for Fraud and False Pretenses
DEBARYLIFE – A Grand Rapids general contractor has been accused of deceit and fraud concerning projects in the counties of Kent and Leelanau.
The investigation into the 23-year-old David Jenkins’s arrest started with a complaint from victims in Georgia.
They alleged that after giving Jenkins $800,000 to construct a home in Leelanau County, they discovered that construction had ceased.

Jenkins was not paying any of the local subcontractors, which was the reason for that.
In Leelanau County, Jenkins has been the subject of two more allegations that are identical.
