Miami Heat make final punishment decision over Jimmy Butler after wantaway superstar missed team flight
Jimmy Butler’s trade drama with the Miami Heat has put him in hot water once more.
The team hierarchy has not been pleased with the superstar’s decision to miss a team flight.
The 35-year-old Butler has already received two game suspensions.
The statement read: “We have suspended Jimmy Butler for two games for [a] continued pattern of disregard of team rules, insubordinate conduct and conduct detrimental to the team, including missing today’s team flight to Milwaukee.”
ESPN claims that Butler had independently decided to join the Heat on Wednesday night.
He will now miss Thursday’s game against the Bucks and Saturday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets due to the ban.
