The backstory

Pierce reportedly killed King, then purchased a shovel, excavated a hole outside the garage of her Woodingham rental property, and buried his body in October 2024, according to Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy. According to Worthy, King’s wrists and feet were shackled. According to an autopsy, the child’s death was caused by suffocation and compression of the neck.

“I have a lot of experience as a prosecutor, and I frequently claim to have seen it all. That is contradicted by the atrocities of this child abuse case. Worthy stated, “This defendant’s alleged actions rank among the most callous I have ever witnessed and hope to never see again.”
