Memphis, Tennessee – To look for a guy wanted in a robbery in Southaven, police closed up a portion of Orange Mound’s Airways Boulevard for many hours on Friday. However, the suspect was still at large as of Friday night.

The robber of interest is thought to be close to Airways and Lamar Avenue, according to Southaven Police. As the suspect was being searched, Memphis Police (MPD) descended onto the site at midday and closed it off.

Several police cars and policemen were dispersed over the area when FOX13 arrived on the scene at 2:00 p.m. It also revealed the presence of a mobile police command center.

However, no suspect materialized despite hours of investigation, the MPD reported.

The MetroPCS phone store on Stateline Road in Southaven, Mississippi, was robbed on Friday, April 19, 2024, according to Southaven Police. The individual was armed and wearing a cream and black hooded sweatshirt.

Authorities reported that during the heist, the thief bound a worker at the rear of the establishment.
