“Shocked!” Missing Philadelphia 4-Year-Old Found Dead In Duffel Bag, Authorities Confirm

DEBARYLIFE – This year, investigators in Philadelphia discovered a decomposing body inside a duffel bag. The youngster, 4, was battered to death, according to the authorities.

While clearing out an alleyway in the city’s Mantua area on March 18, a worker discovered Damari Carter’s body. Carter’s name and age were eventually established by DNA testing, police said on Wednesday, after the authorities had first been unable to ascertain the child’s identity.

Until December 30, the child was reported missing, even though it was last seen alive in early December. He resided with his mother, Dominique Bailey, and her lover, Kevin Spencer, less than half a mile from where his bones were discovered. Their charges include child endangerment, homicide, and other connected offenses in connection with his demise.

On June 18, Bailey and Spencer will appear before a preliminary court judge. Inquiring about comments, the Associated Press sent messages to their lawyers.
