Puerto Rico’s ‘Most Wanted’ Fugitives Nabbed In NYC Hideout, Police ConfirmPuerto Rico’s ‘Most Wanted’ Fugitives Nabbed In NYC Hideout, Police ConfirmAccording to law enforcement sources who spoke to The Post, two of Puerto Rico’s most wanted fugitives were discovered hiding in the Bronx, months after they engaged in gunfire with police and disappeared.

The two shady characters, Jay Livan Diaz-Del Valle, 25, and Hector Manuel Cruz-Ayala, 27, were apprehended by the US Marshals fugitive task team on Monday and Tuesday, respectively, according to reports.

Their accusations originate from an interaction they had on December 12, 2023, with members of the Puerto Rico Police Department, whose officers attempted to apprehend the two on suspicion of possessing weapons, according to sources.

According to accounts, the two men started shooting at the officers, injuring three of them before making their escape.

Authorities have issued a warrant for the guys, who are also thought to be involved in many killings.

According to authorities, on May 10, the Puerto Rican police and the Marshals received information suggesting that Del Valle and Ayala would be hiding out in New York City.

They located Del-Valle in the Bronx, at the intersection of East Tremont and Marmion avenues, three days later.

According to accounts, they apprehended Ayala the next day in the Bronx on the 2000 block of Vyse Avenue.

Sources said they’ll probably face charges for possessing guns, trying to kill a police officer, and other offenses.
