27-year-old Faces Drug Possession Allegations in Mccracken County
The arrest warrant for a man from Paducah was served on Thursday, and he is now facing various narcotics charges.
A report was received by officers from the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office on May 16 indicating that Marcus McFarland, who is 27 years old, was located at 602 Denver Avenue. It was reported by the sheriff’s office that McFarland was the subject of three arrest warrants: one for McCracken County, two for Calloway County, and one for Massac County, Illinois. All of these warrants were related to narcotics investigations.

It was determined that McFarland was there, and a search of his person found that he owned a quantity of methamphetamine and paraphernalia. A second inquiry revealed that McFarland’s backpack included a quantity of marijuana in addition to other items of paraphernalia.

McFarland was taken into custody and put into custody without any complications at the McCracken County Regional Jail. The allegations against him include possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) in the first-degree possession.
