Bank Proximity: Suspect in DC Robbery Spree Focuses on Bank Customers
WASHINGTON: Police in Washington, D.C., are searching for a robbery suspect who is allegedly going up to people, grabbing their stuff, and then fleeing.
The police need your assistance in apprehending the suspect.
The first robbery occurred on May 24 at 1:30 p.m. on 14 Street Northwest.
The suspect was caught on camera committing the crime.
According to detectives speaking to FOX 5, the accused approached a woman who had just left a bank, seized her iPhone while she was using it, a bank card, and $500 in cash, and then fled.
The following day, on Monroe Street Northwest, a man took money out of an ATM in the second heist.

According to the police, the same person approached the man, took $900 in cash, and fled.
The victims of the robbery were all unharmed.
If you recognize the suspect, give the police a call. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered by the Metropolitan Police Department for information that results in an arrest and conviction.
