3 Victims Shot in Northeast DC; Authorities Seek Dark-Colored Sedan

Washington, USA: Three persons in northeast Washington are hospitalized following a late-night shooting.

Tuesday night, at approximately 11 p.m., there was gunfire in the 1800 block of Benning Road.

The three victims, who were all men, were reportedly conscious and breathing when the D.C. police arrived.

Three people were injured in a shooting in Northeast Washington, D.C., and law police reacted quickly. The shooting, which took place in broad daylight, shocked the neighborhood and prompted a search for the suspects throughout the entire city.

The event happened close to the intersection of Bladensburg Road and H Street on a busy street in Northeast Washington, D.C. Just before noon, a shooting broke out, according to eyewitness accounts, terrifying onlookers. Three people were shot at and suffered different levels of injuries.

Following the shooting, the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) released a search request for a dark-colored car that was allegedly involved in the incident.

Immediately following the firing of the rounds, witnesses saw the vehicle leave the site quickly. A concerted effort has been made by law authorities to identify and capture the suspects.

Chief of Police Sarah Johnson told reporters, “This brazen act of violence has no place in our community.” “We are fully committed to bringing those responsible to justice and ensuring the safety and security of all residents.”
