Aaron Rodgers makes clear statement over New York Jets future for 2025 NFL season after dreadful year
The desire of Aaron Rodgers to stay with the New York Jets is intensifying.
Rodgersis is having a horrible season with the New York Jets, and there are rumors that he won’t stay with the organization.
This season, the Jets had very high expectations, but they have fallen well short of them.
With a 3-9 record, the Jets are out of the running for the playoffs and will probably need to make significant personnel changes.
Given that Rodgers is now 41, the quarterback position may be included in that revamp.
Rodgers has stated that he intends to play for the Jets the next season, despite requests for him to sit on the bench in New York.

“I just redid my house here in Jersey,” Rodgers told the audience.
“I wanted to stay here and play for a few more years. We’ll see. I want to finish on my feet and in good health.
“I want to do well and feel appreciated again. Otherwise, I won’t be angry or insulted.
“I’ll be so thankful either way whatever happens here.”
Although he is interested in returning, Rodgers acknowledged that the Jets might not want him back after this season.
He wants to be on the field, but he must make sure he is healthy enough to participate.
“I have to be in good physical and mental health,” Rodgers stated.
Additionally, both parties must be interested. I’ll consider alternative possibilities if that isn’t the case.
At the end of the season, Rodger also hinted at his intention to retire from football.
Rodgers stated that he may choose to retire after some time in the offseason, even though he wants to conclude his career on a good note.
“First I’ll look at whether I want to play or not,” Rodgers stated.

They don’t have a terrific quarterback position without Rodgers, but the Jets haven’t given any hint about their plans with him for the upcoming campaign.
To replace him, they would probably have to use free agency or the draft.
