Amazon driver robbery suspects tracked down in Detroit with Michigan State Police’s Trooper 2

FOX 2.On Tuesday, air support assisted in the pursuit of five suspects wanted in the robbery of an Amazon truck driver.

In newly released footage published Thursday, Detroit police and Michigan State Police’s Trooper 2 helicopter apprehended the suspects on the city’s east side.

Around 10:16 p.m., the driver of the car ran away from DPD and was pursued to Eastpointe, where three suspects left several packages.

The pursuit ended about 10:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Greensboro and Berkshire Street after they were picked up shortly after.

Before police cruisers could flood the scene, five individuals fled the car and were pursued on foot. All of the suspects were taken into custody a short while later.

In their post on X, MSP Second District stated, “Another example of great teamwork between MSP and DPD,” “These suspects won t be playing the Grinch anymore!”
