Amory TEENAGER FACES ADULT CHARGES in Multi-county Child Sexual Abuse Case
A teenager from Amory, who is 17 years old, is being prosecuted as an adult in connection with a case of child sexual abuse that spans two counties.
At the beginning of June, investigators from Monroe County notified Lee County Sheriff’s Investigators about claims of sexual abuse and exploitation of children.
Through collaborative efforts, the two departments were able to uncover alleged criminal activity in both counties.

A suspect named Alexis Bray, who is 17 years old and lives in Amory, was developed by investigators based on evidence that was acquired in Lee County.
On Thursday, Bray was taken into custody.

Two counts of sexual battery of a minor under the age of fourteen, one count of manufacturing child pornography, one count of possessing child pornography, and one offense of distribution of child pornography were among the charges that were brought against her as per pennlive.
Her charges are being brought against her as an adult because of the seriousness of the offenses.
The bond for Bray was rejected by the judge.
