Andy Reid in defiant two-word response to claims Kansas City Chiefs get favoritism from referees
In response to inquiries on the Kansas City Chiefs getting assistance from the referees in the only manner possible, Andy Reid posted a brief statement.
The three-time Super Bowl champion for the Chiefs has been scathing about the supposed favoring his team has been receiving.
Reid was questioned on Wednesday’s appearance on The Pat McAfee Show regarding the claim that the Chiefs have benefited from a number of dubious playoff decisions made by officials.
The topic was brought up by host Pat McAfee, who made a joke about it.
“What is the purpose of your meeting with the referees for the Super Bowl tonight? Is that what’s taking place? The sports media analyst, who was once an NFL punter, made a joke.
Remarking, “Yeah, right,” Reid laughed.

The Chiefs’ victory over the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship was not without controversy.
Late in the game, the Bills’ chances of victory were virtually dashed by a dubious location.
On a fourth-down sneak play, Josh Allen appeared to get a first down, but the officials called him short.
Gene Steratore, a CBS rules expert, even thought the spot was wrong, suggesting that Buffalo ought to have been given the first down.
And a grab by Xavier Worthy on the six-yard line that many fans thought was questionable.
The Chiefs increased their lead to 21-10 at that point with a touchdown a short while later.
The controversy surrounding the referees in the AFC Championship Game occurred one week after supporters voiced their displeasure with the officials’ calls that aided the Chiefs in defeating the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round.
When Kansas City plays the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl next month, they want to steer clear of any officiating controversy.
In New Orleans, they will aim to win the Super Bowl for the third time in a row.
In NFL history, no team has won three straight major games.
Mahomes is only three wins away from matching the record set by the greatest of all time, Tom Brady, and will attempt to win his fourth Super Bowl.
Brady and his former coach Bill Belichick would never have won three straight games.
