Angel Reese handed major punishment at new Unrivaled 3-on-3 event as WNBA star is dragged away
At the brand-new Unrivaled 3-on-3 competition on Saturday night, Angel Reese received an eye-opening punishment.
After a contentious call during an Unrivaled game, the WNBA star expressed her annoyance.
In the second quarter of her Rose BC vs. Laces BC clash, which was unmatched, Reese was sent off.
Tiffany Hayes tried to drive to the paint during the play, but the 22-year-old was called for a reach-in foul.
Reese swiped for the ball, and Hayes went down.
The Chicago Sky star appeared to make several gestures to dismiss Hayes or the call after the referee ruled that Reese had committed a reach-in foul.

Reese was given a technical foul by an umpire who thought the gesture was directed at him rather than Hayes.
Then, Reese made her case to the refs, seemingly claiming that her movement was directed at Hayes rather than the official.
She was dismissed from the game after receiving another technical foul, proving that the argument had no effect.
Reese waved her hand once more and felt compelled to make her way to the locker room after the cameras showed her standing on the sidelines.
In Unrivaled history, Reese was the first player to be kicked out of a competition.
The sequence on X sparked reactions on social media, with several people thinking the ejection wasn’t justified.
“Soft call ngl,” this person wrote.
“That’s a very weak call,” said another.
“Technical in a 3v3 league is wild [laughing emojis] refs wild,” wrote another.
Before the WNBA season starts in May, the Unrivaled league will play for two months, starting in Miami last month.
Before being ejected, Reese had six points, 15 rebounds, three assists, and one blocker at the end of Saturday’s game.
Gray scored 28 points for Chelsea, which helped the Rose BC win the game 83-69.
Her Rose team is currently in last place out of the six teams with a record of 1-4.
Reese just finished a fantastic rookie season with the Sky that earned him an All-Star selection.
The LSU product averaged 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game throughout the year.
