Angie Harmon Accuses Instacart Driver of Fatally Shooting Her Beloved Dog

Debarylife – Angie Harmon claimed on social media on Monday that her family’s dog had been shot and killed by an Instacart delivery driver.

Over Easter weekend, Harmon’s dog, Oliver, was shot and killed. The incident happened soon after a man brought an order to the “Rizzoli & Isles” star’s residence.

“After delivering the food and getting out of his car, he shot our dog,” Harmon posted on Instagram. “Our ring camera was charging in the house, which he saw & then knew he wasn’t being recorded.”

The actress claims that the delivery driver was released by the police after claiming “self-defense.”

“He did not have a scratch or bite on him nor were his pants torn,” she said.

“He was shopping under a woman’s identity named Merle… the pic is on my story,” she said. A picture of a woman was included in the delivery confirmation screenshot that Harmon published.

He shot our dog at home in front of my girls and me, and he just kept saying, ‘Yeah, I shot your dog. Sure, I did,” she said. “We are completely traumatized & beyond devastated at the loss of our beloved boy & family member.”

When Fox News Digital reached out for comment, a Harmon representative did not get back to them right away.

According to a representative speaking to Fox News Digital, Instacart has suspended the delivery driver profile and is collaborating with law enforcement on an investigation.

“Upon learning about this incident, we were extremely saddened and disturbed,” a statement from Instacart read. “The shopper account was instantly suspended from our platform since we do not tolerate any type of violence. We have maintained open communication with the client and are assisting law enforcement with their inquiry.”

According to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department official, Fox News Digital, charges were not brought after an investigation after the March 30 incident.

The statement stated, “Once officers arrived, they located and spoke with all parties involved.” “According to the inquiry, a delivery driver showed up to the house with consumables. When the driver saw that the dog was attacking him while he was at the house, he defended himself by shooting the dog once, critically wounding it. Despite being at the house, another dog refrained from attacking.”

Animal Care and Control from CMPD was also dispatched to the incident.

Celebrity pals of Harmon posted supportive remarks in the comments section.

“This is UNBELIEVABLE!” Porizkova Paulina wrote. “I don’t even know how to react to this.”

“Oh my god, I’m horrified beyond disbelief….” Janney Allison included. “It’s beyond my comprehension. stunned.

“Make a stand,” Harmon’s supporters urged her to do. One commenter wrote: “Take this guy down with your networking and media, and file a suit [sic] against the police department for sitting on the hands-off.” It won’t be long until he pulls a pistol on someone else or does it again if he is too fast to do it.”
