Ann Arbor woman hit, killed by vehicles in Pittsfield Township

(FOX 2) PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP, MITwo cars struck a woman Tuesday as she was crossing a Pittsfield Township road, resulting in her death.

Just before 6:15 p.m., according to the police, the 26-year-old was crossing Carpenter Road south of Packard Road. According to the authorities, the victim was in the crosswalk but was going against the signal.

She was hit by two cars while on the road. Both drivers pulled over and gave investigators their cooperation.

At the scene, the woman was declared dead.

There is an investigation going on.
