Assault Of Driver On Route 140 Under Investigation By Massachusetts State Police
FREETOWN, Massachusetts – The Massachusetts State Police reported that troopers are looking into an assault on a driver that happened on May 9 on Route 140.
According to state police, the victim pulled over on the side of the road at around ten o’clock at night to check on a mechanical problem with their automobile.
Suddenly, a second car arrived and two people got out.

The suspects then attacked the man, stole a lockbox and his wallet from the car, and pointed a gun at him before taking off.
Troopers are looking into the situation right now.
