Atlantic City Arrest Reveals Northfield Woman’s Identity Theft of Sister: Police Report

A minivan that had been stolen and was determined to be empty was discovered by a law enforcement officer on the first block of Tennessee Avenue at approximately 6:57 p.m. on Sunday. The minivan, which had been reported stolen earlier in the day, was seen on surveillance camera being exited by two individuals just before the arrival of officials.

In the vicinity of the minivan, the police detained Rainey and Adam Ross, who is 33 years old and came from Absecon. Ross was initially freed, but he was taken into custody once more around eight hours later when the police reported that he had stolen another vehicle.

During her arrest, Rainey disclosed to the authorities that she was her sister, Aine Wallace. An individual named Rainey was brought to the City Division of the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center with a “medical complaint.”

In response to a summons, Rainey was discharged with a court hearing scheduled for the future. Wallace disclosed to the authorities on Wednesday, May 15, that Rainey had utilized the information that Wallace had provided after the arrest of Rainey was made public with the announcement.

To avoid being arrested on warrants, Rainey allegedly utilized some different names in the past, according to the investigators. During the inquiry into the stolen vehicle, she was hauled into jail even though she was subject to an active arrest warrant.

Rainey was first charged with receiving stolen property, joyriding, and possession of controlled hazardous substance paraphernalia. These charges were the initial ones brought against him.
