Beat the Heat: Non-Residents Welcome at North Jersey Pool Day Passes

DEBARYLIFE – Many of the North Jersey pools are now open for the season, so come cool off.

The following ones let visitors purchase day passes:

Bogota: Only residents of Bergen County are eligible for day passes, which cost $15 per person. For hours, visit the website.

Darlington State Park, Mahwah: Adults in Bergen County pay $10 on weekends and $8 during the week, while minors only pay $6 to enter.

Adult day passes to Highlands Natural Pool in Ringwood cost $20, while senior day passes cost $15. Children’s permits cost $10. For hours, visit the website.

Palisades Park: Weekend-only hours until June 22, when the pool will reopen for the summer. Residents of Palisades Park can purchase day passes for $15, while those in New Jersey can do so for $20.

Pershing Field Pool, Jersey City: Adult day passes cost $8, while children’s cards cost $2 on weekends. On weekdays, adult day passes cost $6 and child passes cost $2.Rahway’s Walter Ulrich Memorial Pool is open on weekends until its official opening on June 29.

Both county and non-county inhabitants are invited. Adults cost $10, while children and elderly people pay $4 to $8.

Weehawken: Non-residents can purchase memberships and day passes here. There is a daily cap of thirty individuals each day, with day admissions priced at $30 for adults and $15 for children.

The majority of state parks and leisure places don’t open until June when lifeguards are on duty, but swimming is allowed there. For a schedule, see here.
