Beloved NBC4 meteorologist Bob Nunnally dies just months after declaring ‘I’m cancer-free’ in devastating video
At the age of 68, a beloved former meteorologist passed away.
Bob Nunnally passed away on Sunday, according to his family.
Nunnally spent a portion of forty years as the weatherman for Columbus’ NBC station, WCMH.
In 2022, he stepped away from his career to concentrate on overcoming pancreatic cancer.
He posted a video earlier this year declaring that he had defeated cancer, but there were apparently issues throughout his recuperation.
He said, “I’m cancer-free,” in a May video that he shared with WCMH.

My recuperation has simply been sluggish and intermittent,” he remarked.
“It s just like, I feel a little bit better and then I have a setback of some sort.”
He disclosed that he had hoped to resume work following surgery, but “it didn’t work out.”
Only a few days after going into hospice care on Friday, he passed away on Sunday morning.
The family wants privacy during this difficult time as we grieve our loss and personally contact family members, Nunnally’s family said in a statement.
