Big News! Police Investigate Triple Shooting In Northeast Washington, DC

Washington, D.C. –  Three males were shot during a violent altercation that happened late on Sunday night in Northeast Washington, D.C., according to police reports.

The incident happened in the 1500 block of Benning Road NE at around nine o’clock at night. This neighborhood has seen a rise in violent crimes recently.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department arrived quickly to several reports of shooting. When they got there, they found three grown men with gunshot wounds. Emergency Medical Services arrived on the scene right away and treated the wounded urgently before taking them to a nearby hospital.

The three injured individuals are reportedly receiving medical attention for their wounds, however, the identities and present states of each have not yet been made public by the authorities.

Although the precise reasons for the shooting are yet unknown, preliminary investigations point to a possible conflict between nearby households as the cause of the incident.
