‘Big’ Tragic Incident! Seattle Man In Custody After Infant Son Killed By Gunfire

DEBARYLIFE – Following the tragic shooting of his 9-month-old baby, a father from Seattle has been placed under arrest.

In a post on its website, the Seattle Police Department stated that officers were called to reports of gunfire in the Magnolia neighborhood on Wednesday night. When firefighters arrived on the scene, they declared the youngster dead, and a woman told police that her infant had been shot.

After the police located the father a few blocks away, he was taken into custody later on. He had a $5 million bail as of Friday, according to The Seattle Times, and was being held at the King County Correctional Facility.

The man, 35, admitted to police using the substance phencyclidine, also referred to as angel dust or PCP, that day, according to a probable cause affidavit.

According to records, he was arrested for homicide, assault, and illegal gun possession.

When she heard a gunshot, the woman informed police, she was in the restroom. When she questioned her husband about it, he responded by calling her “a blank,” according to the documents. He had been shot in the head, and when she went to check on him, she discovered this and hurried outside to get help.

The affidavit states that the woman subsequently informed officers that her husband owns a gun regularly and that they had purchased PCP approximately a week prior.
