Bill Belichick makes major decision over his future as New England Patriots legend agrees to new head coach role
Next year, Bill Belichick hopes to coach again, but not in the NFL.
According to reports, Belichick has consented to take over as UNC football’s next head coach.
Belichick has agreed to become UNC’s next head coach, but he is not yet in that role, according to Ollie Connolly of the Guardian US.
The school received a 400-page book with the former New England Patriots head coach’s program concepts.
“Belichick s bible would require historic levels of investment from the school,” Connolly wrote.
includes a readiness to hire two staff members: a coaching staff led by Belichick and a recruitment team led by a current college general manager who would need a buyout. It also includes compensation minimums for each post.

“Belichick has distributed his updated handbook to other universities and NFL teams, and he has a copy for both college and professional use.
However, he created a brand-new one tailored to UNC that addressed every facet of the school and program.
“Will need sign off from AD, chancellor, trustees and boosters.”
According to reports, UNC trustees are opposing Belichick’s plans for the football program.
“There has already been pushback from the group of 13 trustees, with input from wider faculty,” Connolly said.
“The investment would overhaul the school s approach to football; Belichick unsure if the school will meet the demands and is unwilling to negotiate.”
During a recent visit on The Pat McAfee Show, Belichick talked briefly about how he would manage a college football team.
“If I was in a college program, the college program would be a pipeline to the NFL for the players that had the ability to play in the NFL,” he stated.
“The program would be professional. strategies, coaching, diet, training, and methods that would be applicable in the NFL.
“It would be an NFL program, but not at the NFL level.”
Although Belichick would not say if he was hired or not, he did disclose that he had a “couple of good conversations.”
