What happened between the It Ends With Us co-stars?
January 2023
Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively were chosen to feature in the 2023 version of the best-selling book “It Ends With Us.”
Blake produced the movie, and Justin also directed it.
Lively played flower store owner Lily Bloom in the movie, which was later released in August 2024. Baldoni played Ryle Kincaid, Lily’s love interest and a neurosurgeon.
Although they initially find Ryle endearing, their romance later deteriorates when Ryle viciously assaults the owner of the flower store in graphic scenes of domestic abuse.

There were rumors of a conflict between the co-stars during the ‘It Ends With Us’ publicity tour.
This happened when viewers noticed that Lively and other cast members had unfollowed the actor on Instagram and that Baldoni had been conspicuously missing from a number of press appearances.
“There was a fracture among the filmmakers in the post-production process, wherein two different cuts of the movie emerged,” a source told The Hollywood Reporter at the time.
December 2024
A few months after the movie’s premiere, Blake Lively filed a lawsuit against her co-star Justin Baldoni in December 2024.
Baldoni has been accused of showing Lively nude films and pictures of other women, talking about his alleged past porn addiction, and inquiring about her weight, according to documents obtained by TMZ.
The actor disputes Lively’s accusation that Baldoni is waging a smear campaign to “destroy” her reputation.
She additionally alleges that she requested “no more adding of sex scenes, oral sex or on camera climaxing outside the scope of the script approved when signing onto the project.”
The actress claimed that she and her family experienced extreme emotional suffering as a result of Baldoni’s conduct after the allegations were made.
Lively is wed to Ryan Reynolds, another actor.
After getting married in 2012, the pair had four kids together.
Bryan Freedman, Baldoni’s attorney, called the complaint “shameful” after it was filed, saying it was untrue, ludicrous, and purposefully sensational with the idea of hurting people in public.
The attorney further asserted that Lively filed a lawsuit to repair her bad reputation following claims that she behaved like a diva on set.
The author of the best-selling book “It Ends With Us,” Coleen Hoover, has also responded to the allegations.
