Blues Brothers actress, 95, dies in devastating LA wildfires after becoming trapped in her home as it burned to ground

A retired actress perished while stranded in her house after the terrifying Eaton Fire destroyed it.

According to her relatives, Dalyce Curry, who starred in The Blues Brothers, has away at the age of 95.

At 6 p.m. on Sunday, first responders found Mrs. Curry’s death in the debris of her Altadena house, which is located just north of Los Angeles. Her loved ones call her Momma D.

Dalyce Kelley, her great-granddaughter, shared the heartbreaking news on Facebook.

She wrote: The coroner confirmed her bodies were discovered at the property approximately one hour ago.

Kelley also posted eerie video of the destruction, which included her great-grandmother’s charred Cadillac and the ash-covered remains of the house.

In the video, Kelley identified a refrigerator, a bicycle, and a door amidst the wreckage, saying, “This was the kitchen.”

The video showed a post-apocalyptic scenario, with the surrounding wildfire still causing the sky to glow orange.

A number of wildfires, including the Eaton Fire, are causing devastation in the Los Angeles region and have sparked new outrage about how lawmakers are handling wildfire prevention.
