Brian Thompson’s assassin was a professional hitman – 3 clues show it was a contract killing, claims ex-intel officer
According to a former army intelligence officer, the assassin who killed CEO Brian Thompson outside a hotel in Manhattan was a professional hitman.
The insurance CEO was calmly approached by the disguised shooter, who then shot him in cold blood and left the area.
To find the still-at-large shooter, New York police have begun a desperate manhunt.
While one tape shows the gunman using his phone before to the murder, another shows the terrifying CCTV footage of the suspect shooting the victim.
Police discovered that the gunman’s bullets had the words “deny,” “depose,” and “defend” inscribed on them, suggesting that it might have been a covert message.
Phillip Ingram, a former top British military intelligence officer, claims that the hospital CEO’s assassination was a professional hit, although there is still mystery around it.

He disclosed the three hints that point to the hooded shooter being an expert in an exclusive interview with the Sun.
“This was obviously a professional assassination,” he stated.
“Because of the manner in which a person appeared in profile in the CCTV footage that we have seen, allowing his victim to pass by before drawing a gun with a sizable silencer and firing many shots.
“We witnessed the gun jamming, and he expertly cleared the jam, murdering his victim as he desired, and then he left, but in a way that concealed who he was.
“It is evident that he had previously inspected the area to determine its CCTV coverage. What’s intriguing is that some of the shell cartridges that the police have discovered have reportedly been found to have words on them. Thus, the message was quite clear.
“This was put together in a really professional manner. The person knew the proper way to handle a weapon.
“This person was an expert in his field. Additionally, utilizing a weapon with a silencer while feeling tense.
“His victim was struck in the calf by the first round. He was struck in the chest by the second round, which is where you would aim.
New York police have characterized the hit as a targeted, deliberate, and planned attack on the healthcare executive.
Paul Mauro, a former NYPD inspector, has refuted allegations that the suspect is a professional, stating that they “primarily exist in movies.”
“I would just hesitate on that and tell people to just be mindful of the fact that professional hitmen exist primarily in the movies,” he said before speaking to Fox News. In reality, they don’t exist.
Even though he was quite composed and obviously knew the way, it is still possible that it was a murder for hire.
“Yes, those things do occur. I’m not convinced that this is a professional shooter.
Thompson entered the New York Hilton Midtown soon after 6:45 a.m., when the fatal shooting occurred.
Although UnitedHealth Group had an internal security team at the time, Thompson did not have security accompanying him.
The guy had a grey rucksack in his hand and was wearing a dark jacket with a mask pulled up over his nose.
The suspect casually mounted a nearby e-bike and rode off toward Central Park after the murder.
Two blocks from the shooting site, at Starbucks on West 56th and 6th Avenue, the suspect was also seen on CCTV placing an order.
According to sources, he purchased two PowerBars, coffee, and a water bottle prior to the shooting.
After finding a phone in an alleyway, police have a warrant to search its contents.
Additionally, police have requested a search warrant for a New York City hostel where they suspect the murderer may have been lodging.
A representative for the HI New York City Hostel told The U.S. Sun, “We are fully cooperating with the NYPD and, as this is an active investigation, can not comment at this time.”
UnitedHealth Group Statement on Brian Thompson
On December 4, while departing a hotel in New York City, UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was shot and killed in a heinous assault. UnitedHealth Group, the parent firm, issued the following statement:
We are horrified and saddened by the loss of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, a close friend and colleague.
“Everyone who worked with Brian regarded him as a friend and colleague.
“During this trying time, we kindly request your compassion and patience while we work closely with the New York Police Department.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with Brian’s family and everyone who knew him well.
Around 6:30 am, a man who fits the killer’s description—wearing a gray bag, cap, mask, and dark jacket—is spotted seemingly talking on his phone as he makes his way to the Hilton Hotel.
About five minutes prior to the incident, he arrived at the hotel and waited for Thompson, who was coming for an investor conference.
According to law enforcement officials, the assassin used a silencer and shot Thompson from around 20 feet away, giving the impression that he was a proficient shooter.
When his gun seemed to jam during the shooting, he was also able to quickly recover, resolving the problem and keeping the gun firing while the CEO made a valiant attempt to crawl away.
Unsettling video shows the shooter shooting Thompson several times as he entered the opulent hotel.
After the shooting, the assailant mounted a bicycle and cycled north on Sixth Avenue, escaping into Central Park, which is closer and has less video camera coverage.
One usable photo of the suspect without a mask has been taken by police thus far.

For information that resulted in an arrest, police offered a reward of up to $10,000.
The shooting was not a random act of violence, according to New York City Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch, even if detectives had not yet determined a motive.
