Brides can now say yes to the dress on DoorDash as food delivery service makes major change

Remaining true to its beginnings as a meal delivery business, DoorDash has changed significantly and added other services.

The business has expanded its range of retail merchants by partnering with David’s Bridal.

DoorDash revealed on Wednesday that it has partnered with David’s Bridal, the leading bridal, wedding planning, and special occasion shop in the United States.

Fuad Hannon, vice president of new verticals at DoorDash, stated, “We are thrilled to welcome David’s Bridal to DoorDash as our first wedding and special occasion retailer.”

“With David’s Bridal on the Marketplace, consumers can rest easy knowing that they can get everything they need on DoorDash for important milestones and every occasion in between.”

At the same retail prices as in-store, customers may now order dresses, shoes, accessories, and other items from the chain for on-demand delivery.

Any of the 180 David’s Bridal locations around the country accepts orders for the various options, which can be delivered to customers’ doorsteps in less than an hour.

When the two businesses tested the cooperation in the market, Kelly Cook, president of brand, technology, and finance at David’s Bridal, said that the new service received “fantastic” feedback from customers.

Cook also mentioned that the most popular David’s Bridal categories that customers were purchasing on DoorDash were dresses, accessories, and intimate apparel.

“Whether you prefer the convenience of doorstep delivery to help save time during the planning process, need a perfect dress for a last-minute holiday party invite, a save-the-day solution to a suddenly stained bridesmaid dress on the big day or a fabulous pair of party-all-night’ shoes – David’s takes the stress away so you can focus on celebrating and feeling beautiful and confident for any special occasion,” Cook stated.
