While wearing the complete firefighting gear, the Welshman hopes to break the record and become the first person to climb the highest peak in the world.

Project Fire, his challenge, will collect funds for the Nimsdai Foundation, Mind, and the organization The Fire Fighters.

The foundation’s mission is to safeguard Nepal’s mountain villages.

Rhys stated: I’ve always gone up to the mountains after certain calls if things are getting a little too much.

“I’ve done it to unwind, recharge, and get away from everything.

becoming unable to turn off is one of the most difficult aspects of becoming a fireman.

You must be able to turn on immediately and give every call your all, regardless of the time of day or the circumstance.
