Brit mum, 64, MISSING in Jamaica as cops hunt younger husband, 37, who was murder suspect & ‘criminal dubbed “Mantis”‘
Following alarming revelations about his covert criminal past, police have begun a manhunt for the husband of a British mother who went missing while on vacation in Jamaica.
After traveling to the Caribbean island for a vacation with her 37-year-old Jamaican partner Andre Morrison, Dawn Anderson, 64, remained at a hotel.
However, the entrepreneur was last spotted leaving a hotel one week ago, the morning after arriving in Montego Bay on a Virgin aircraft from the UK.
Andre was once a murder suspect, according to the police, and her children said they were in a panic because they couldn’t get in touch with their mother or him.
When Morrison worked on her Jamaican property in Roaring Falls, fashion merchant Dawn, a devoted Christian living in Mitcham, South West London, fell in love.

However, neither Dawn nor her family were aware of his criminal past, which included an arrest for alleged murder that was later dropped due to insufficient evidence.
And after it was revealed that he was a notorious criminal named Mantis on a police Most Wanted list, her daughters in the UK were devastated.
Together, the couple attended Roaring Falls Church, where vivacious Dawn was a well-liked and vibrant presence.
They also co-starred in TikTok videos promoting her products while wearing similar African clothing that she imported from Ghana.
However, Morrison has since disappeared after informing her family that his wife had disappeared on November 24.
When the missing husband’s associates said he had revealed that he wanted to get rid of Dawn, more panic broke out.
Adult daughters Krystal, Charmaine, and Fiona Anderson have made a request for assistance in finding their mother, who has gone missing.
After learning of Andre’s past in a YouTube Channel talk, one of Dawn’s daughters remarked: “From what you have told me, he is a demon.”
Jamaica Police Deputy Superintendent Shaunjaye Mitchell revealed Monday that Morrison had previously been charged with murder but was later released.
“He was arrested on reasonable suspicion of murder, but there was no evidence to charge him,” the police officer told The Sun.
In another case, he was accused of unlawfully possessing firearms and ammunition and intentionally hurting people.
His lawyer brought him and his identical twin brother to court and requested the witness to identify the accused.
The case was dropped after the witness named his brother.
Although we are unable to determine whether Dawn has been hurt, multiple agencies are currently involved in our investigations to find out where she is.
At this point, we are unable to disclose the details of the efforts we have been doing to find Morrison.
Born and raised in the United Kingdom, Dawn frequently spends the winters at her home in Jamaica. On November 24, she took a plane to the island and spent the night at the four-star Hotel 39 in Montego Bay.
It is believed that she and Morrison stayed there, and she was last seen leaving at approximately 11.50 a.m. the next day.
Police acknowledged speaking with Morrison, but they have since failed to find him.
There are significant contradictions in the husband’s story of how she vanished, Deputy Superintendent Mitchell told the Sun.
He stated that he reported her missing to the Negril Police Station after taking her to Negril for business purposes and not seeing her since.
Checks, however, showed such was not the case. Since the husband has a colorful criminal record, every attempt to get in touch with him has failed.
The law prevents us from listing him as a wanted person, even if he is being considered as a main suspect in relation to her disappearance.
Dawn and her husband booked into a hotel when they arrived in Jamaica, but they haven’t been seen or contacted since.
When her husband was contacted by family, he told them that he had taken her to Negril and dropped her off at a place where she said she had a phone to deliver.
He claimed that she wasn’t there when he went back to pick her up, and he hasn’t seen or spoken to her since.
He further said that after reporting her missing to the Negril Police Station, he passed out and sought medical attention at the Negril Health Center.
However, these assertions were refuted by police and family inspections.
On a Jamaican YouTube channel, Dawn’s daughter Fiona stated: “My mother is a good person who has helped many people, and the whole family has not taken this very well.”
Andre booked the hotel reservation because he wanted to see my mother, but as far as I can tell, he has now vanished, and we don’t have his phone number.

He has removed all of his belongings, therefore I don’t suppose he is living at my mother’s house.
When the daughter learned about Morrison’s criminal history, she wailed, “I can’t even take this in.” This is not being well received by the entire family.
