A British teenager who was imprisoned for having a romantic holiday in Dubai has made a fervent request to be permitted to go back home.
While waiting on bail for an appeal, 18-year-old Marcus Fakana was given a 12-month term and stated that he was finding it difficult to handle his situation.
He was detained for having sex with a British girl, 17, while on vacation in Dubai, where it is against the law to have intercourse with someone younger than 18.
