Brit tourist, 30, arrested over rape of girl, 6, & filming abuse in Thailand’s ‘Sin City’ while visiting Thai girlfriend
UK police tracked down and arrested a British tourist who was accused of raping a six-year-old girl in Thailand.
Detectives at the National Crime Agency (NCA) in London were able to identify the 30-year-old from Leeds, West Yorkshire, thanks to a purported video of a schoolgirl being assaulted.
Officers collaborated with local law enforcement and located the British national, who was living with a Thai girlfriend in the coastal “Sin City” resort of Pattaya.
On Tuesday morning, December 3, armed police officers broke into his rental house in the Private Paradise Pattaya condominium complex.
The ill British man is seen on camera coming out of the bedroom shirtless, followed by his partner.
The suspect was read the charges via a translator.
“According to the illegal conduct you have engaged in, there has been a charge of rape, statutory rape, of another individual, by force, by threat, by applying threats and force, vicious threats and violent force, to a person that was in a position that could not resist or a person that could not fight back,” the translator reads from the court arrest warrant.
Additionally, against a minor who is not your legal wife and is younger than 13 years old.
“Even if that child did or did not agree, this conduct has been done against a child, that has not reached the age of 13 years old, so even if the child did agree or not agree to that, the child was in a situation where they could not fight back or do anything about that.”
