Brit woman vanishes on Caribbean island St Lucia while partying at street festival after posting smiling yacht pic

While parting ways at a street event in St Lucia, a British woman disappeared.

Jemima Colenso, who lives on a yacht off the Caribbean island, vanished on Saturday morning, sparking a search.

The 33-year-old was last spotted on the island’s Gros islet at approximately 11:25 p.m. on Friday.

Prior to her unexplained disappearance, Jemima shared a photo of herself grinning from a yacht while attending the Friday Night street party.

The British national was residing on a ship called Lola, which was anchored at the island’s northern Rodney Bay Marina.

On Friday evening, Jemima, who hails from Somerset, was dressed in a brown and orange trouser suit.

Police are searching for the 33-year-old “around the clock” as part of a massive hunt.

“We are requesting any information that partygoers at the street party may have on this woman,” a police source stated.

“She has gone missing and we need to find her and to locate her.”
