Brits’ dream travel adventures revealed – including northern lights & whale-watching
BRITS’ ideal vacation experiences include hiking the Great Wall of China, seeing the northern lights in Finland, and whale watching in Iceland.
According to a survey of 2,000 persons, 41% of them consider themselves adventurers, and 17% of them wish to visit the Gal Pagos Islands.
However, 12% believe they could make it to Australia’s Great Barrier Reef’s vibrant coral.
Additionally, 15% envision themselves picking their way across the Amazon rainforest.
Nonetheless, 53% acknowledge that their adventurous nature is frequently suppressed, and 28% attribute this to work obligations.

However, 46% of them are merely deterred by the perceived cost of these international travels.
Additionally, 89% of respondents said they would never consider going on a potentially hazardous adventure without a smartphone in their pocket.
Sixty-three percent would rely on GPS and navigation, and 65 percent would use emergency contact and safety features.

However, according to OnePoll.com, 53% of respondents want one on hand in order to take breathtaking pictures and videos.
At the age of 27, the average adult felt most adventurous because they were more self-assured (45%) and had a greater desire for new experiences (47%).
However, 31% would require more free time to explore more, and 24% would like more encouraging friends or other travelers.
Additionally, 26% of respondents said they had previously set New Year’s Resolutions to learn more, but they also acknowledged that they had not followed through.
